Full program


The congress will last five half-days, from Thursday morning to Saturday noon.
Each half-day will have the same structure :
• A plenary session (1h30) with three lectures
• Five sessions in parallel (1h30) : two symposiums with three talks, two workshops, focused on a clinical thematic round table discussion and a poster session during which ten posters will be briefly presented, then commented on by two speakers.

Plenary sessions


The plenary session speakers will suggest innovative lectures, based on the half-day theme. The presentations will not last more than twenty five minutes, in order to respect the speaking time of other speakers, the congress schedule, and to allow for one or two questions to the session’s chairman and conferees.
Before the congress, the speakers will agree to provide a text that will be published in a booklet as part of the congress proceedings.

Workshops


The goal of the workshop is to work on a clinical issue in a round-table setting which allows exchange between the conferees. A smaller room size (eighty seats) is favourable to a dynamic and interactive work style.
The workshops will be held in French but special attention will be made by multilingual colleagues to facilitate exchange in the various languages of the AEPEA.

Poster sessions


On both Thursday and Friday mornings and afternoons, four poster sessions will be held in a small room of sixty seats.
Each session will give the opportunity to listen to a brief oral presentation (five minutes) of one of the ten posters chosen for the half-day theme. Two speakers will propose a ten-minute discussion after the presentations. Four posters will be selected by a jury to be presented in one of the Saturday morning symposia.
